Is This the Right Home for Your Loved One?

We welcome families to visit, ask questions, and take their time. There's no pressure β€” just a warm space to explore what feels right. Reach out when you're ready.

Common Questions

Families often come to us with similar questions. We've gathered some of the most common ones here β€” and we're always glad to talk through anything further.

Do residents need to be fully independent to join?

Tung Blossom is designed for elderly who do not require medical intervention but may benefit from gentle daily support with routines, meals, and social connection. Our staff are there for companionship and practical help β€” not clinical care. If you're unsure whether the home is a suitable fit, we're happy to have a conversation about your loved one's needs.

Are families able to visit freely?

Yes β€” family visits are warmly welcomed at any point during the day. There are no structured visiting hours. We believe a home should feel open, and that the presence of family is part of what makes daily life nourishing.

What does a typical day look like at Tung Blossom?

Days are gently structured. Mornings begin with breakfast and quiet time. Afternoons often include a creative activity, gentle exercise, or group tea time. Evenings are calm β€” dinner is served, followed by an unhurried wind-down. Residents are never rushed, and the rhythm of each day is shaped with their comfort in mind.

What is included in the monthly fee for Blossom Residence?

The HK$14,200 monthly fee covers private room accommodation, three meals daily, housekeeping and laundry, participation in daily activities, and 24-hour staffed companionship. There are no hidden charges for standard living β€” any additional personal requests can be discussed openly.

Can we arrange a visit before making a decision?

Absolutely. We encourage families to visit in person, meet the staff, and spend some time in the home before any decision is made. A visit often answers questions that words alone cannot. Please reach out to arrange a time that suits you.

How does the Art & Expression Afternoons programme work?

Sessions take place twice a week, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Each session begins with tea and conversation, followed by a guided creative activity β€” watercolour painting, collage, fabric crafts, or printmaking. All materials are provided. No prior artistic experience is needed; the focus is entirely on the process and enjoyment, not any particular result.

Is the Seasonal Three-Week Stay suitable for short-term needs?

Yes. The Seasonal Stay is designed for families who need a temporary arrangement β€” whether during a period of travel, family change, or simply to allow their loved one to experience the home's daily life before committing to something longer. At the end of the stay, staff share a warm account of the guest's time with the family.
