Three Ways to Be Here
Offerings Shaped Around Real Life
Whether your loved one is looking for a long-term home, a creative afternoon programme, or a three-week stay during a transitional time — Tung Blossom has a place for them.
← Back to HomeOur Approach
Each offering at Tung Blossom has grown from a genuine understanding of how elderly people live and what makes daily life feel worth living. We don't package care in tiers or upsell based on need. Instead, we've developed three distinct options — each complete in itself — so that families can find the one that actually fits.
Our approach across all offerings is the same: unhurried, attentive, and shaped around the person rather than the schedule. Cantonese culture, home cooking, and creative expression run through everything we do.

How a Typical Day Unfolds
Morning breakfast together, followed by gentle movement or quiet time in the garden
Midday meal, freshly prepared, with familiar Cantonese dishes
Afternoon activity — painting, crafts, conversation — and group tea time
Evening dinner and a calm, unhurried wind-down at each resident's own pace
Art & Expression Afternoons
HK$1,680 / month
A twice-weekly afternoon programme encouraging creative expression in a supportive group. Sessions run from 2 PM to 5 PM and include guided activities such as watercolour painting, collage making, fabric crafts, and simple printmaking. All materials are provided, and every session begins with tea and informal conversation. Staff with arts experience lead the group at a gentle pace. The programme is open to all ability levels and focuses on the process rather than the result.
- Twice weekly, Tuesday and Thursday, 2–5 PM
- All materials provided — nothing to bring
- Begins with tea and informal group conversation
- Led by an experienced arts educator
- Open to all ability levels — no experience needed
- Focus on enjoyment, not output or performance
What a Session Includes
Arrival and tea — gentle, informal conversation to settle in
Introduction to the day's activity — materials laid out, topic introduced gently
Creative work — at each person's own pace, with quiet encouragement
Sharing and conversation — looking at what's been made together before closing
Seasonal Three-Week Stay
HK$9,800 / three weeks
A three-week residential option available during any season, suited for families who need temporary support. Guests are accommodated in private rooms with full access to meals, activities, and communal spaces. The stay allows guests to experience all aspects of the home's daily life. At the conclusion, staff provide a warm account of the guest's time and any relevant observations for the family.
- Private room for the duration of the stay
- All meals and daily activities included
- Full access to communal spaces
- Available in any season throughout the year
- Warm written account provided to family at conclusion
- Suited for transitions, family travel, or trial stays
Note for families: The three-week stay is also a thoughtful way to see whether Tung Blossom feels right before considering a longer arrangement. Many longer-term residents began with a seasonal stay.
